Beta Terms of Use

The Sketch Index documents original sketch-card artwork and related history. Beta features may change, pause, or contain errors. Museum attribution, identification, ownership, grading, valuation, and provenance information is informational and should be independently verified before relying on it.

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access. Artist and administrative access requires separate approval; creating an account does not grant an Artist identity or authority over a Museum Record.

Submit only material you have the right to share. Do not impersonate others, make knowingly false ownership or attribution claims, upload malicious content, probe private data, interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, or use Museum data to harass people.

You retain rights in material you submit. You grant The Sketch Index permission to store, review, format, and display approved material as needed to operate and preserve the Museum archive.

Donations support the Museum and are processed by Stripe. A donation does not purchase ownership, appraisal, verification, preferential moderation, or Artist status. If a payment was made in error, contact us at support@thesketchindex.com promptly; refund availability may depend on processing status and applicable requirements.

We may reject, correct, restrict, or remove content and access to protect people, archive integrity, intellectual-property rights, security, or legal obligations. The beta service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation.
